The services of a top accident lawyer would be useful following the death of a hotel guest who got struck after a vehicle slammed into her hotel room and struck her in Fort Worth, Texas. The Tarrant County medical examiner’s office disclosed the fatal victim’s identity as 41-year-old Maria Mancha, of Fort Worth, on Tuesday, June 2.

The incident played out on Sunday afternoon, May 31. The Fort Worth Police Department received the reports just before 1:30 p.m. Police said it happened in the 3800 block of Tanacross Drive.

Preliminary reports showed that a 16-year-old male operating a truck orchestrated the accident. Witnesses confirmed that the teenager was doing doughnuts in the streets with his vehicle when the truck hit another car. The truck then skidded forward across the road until it encountered the north end of the HomeTowne Suites building. The vehicle smashed directly into a room where Mancha was lodged and struck her.

Following the crash, the unidentified teenager abandoned his vehicle and went into a room in a nearby Comfort Suites. With the aid of witnesses, officers were able to track down the suspect and arrest him. The boy admitted to the crime when interrogated.

Authorities said the struck victim later died from her injuries on Sunday night at the John Peter Smith Hospital.

In such cases, it is essential for the victim’s family to involve a top accident lawyer who could ascertain all factors surrounding the crash, including those resulting from negligence on the hotel’s part.
