A 65-year-old pedestrian was killed on Thursday morning after he was struck by two vehicles while walking along State Route 92 and suffered major injuries as a result. The fatal incident took place just before dawn on Thursday, March 26, near the Acworth area of Cherokee County, Georgia.
The Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office reported that the tragic collision occurred at about 5 am. Officers from the Traffic Enforcement Unit of the sheriff’s office responded to a distress call reporting a pedestrian who was seriously injured in a traffic accident off Woodland Drive.

Reports confirmed that the incident, which remains under investigation, marked the third fatality recorded on Ga. Highway 92 this year involving a pedestrian.
