A car accident report update from the Mohave Valley area of Arizona disclosed the name of the driver who died in a head-on collision in the city. The Arizona Department of Public Safety revealed the victim’s name as Terry Wyatt Jr., 36, of Needles, on Monday, July 6th.
The fatal accident happened on Thursday, July 2nd, on Highway 95 near Magellan Drive. The DPS said that the call about the collision came in at about 8:35 a.m., and they dispatched officers to the scene. Agency spokesman Bart Graves said that Wyatt was heading north on the highway in a Dodge Caravan before the incident.
At the same time, a Dodge Ram was traveling south on top speed. The second vehicle then crossed the centerline of the roadway, placing it directly in front of the Caravan, and they collided. Wyatt died at the scene, while the Ram driver survived with severe injuries.
The medics flew the motorist to a hospital in Las Vegas, and there’s currently no information on the person’s condition. The investigation into the accident is ongoing.
When a car accident occurs, the investigators look for the person with the highest degree of liability, and it is often the person who caused the accident. Several charges arise from a car crash depending on the circumstances of the case, and the offender would face a criminal trial. Additionally, the person can face a civil lawsuit if he or she wishes to recover damages, and if the person is deceased, his or her representative can sue.
