Major Car Accident on Highway 46 Leaves One Critically Injured


Ruth Meeks, 48 of Bakersfield was involved in a major head-on collision last night on Highway 46 just north of Los Angeles. The California Highway Patrol is still investigating the cause of this accident however, it is reported that another vehicle was making a dangerous lane change in order to pass a vehicle ahead and struck Meeks car.

The other party was not injured in the crash. Meeks was taken to nearby Kern Medical Center.
