Four people were injured, and one killed, in a single-car crash in High Desert near Littlerock on Saturday.
At approximately 4:30 p.m., the vehicle, a 1999 Infinity G20 traveling west on Palmdale Boulevard near 130th Street East, went off the road onto the shoulder, swerved, and turned over, hitting a utility pole before coming to rest right side up again.
The driver, a 26-year-old woman, suffered minor injuries. Four people in the backseat of the car were ejected during the collision, and all were hospitalized with major injuries. 20-year-old Steve Wissar Jr. was pronounced dead at the scene.
Wissar and the driver were Palmdale natives. It is unclear how much of a role the driver played in the crash, but it is known that she was not arrested.
