As Deleonardo took a left turn to go north on Moreland Avenue, the car crashed into her vehicle. She died at the scene while Armstead was transported to Grady Memorial Hospital.

The four suspects were also taken to hospital. They are 28-year-old Sebatian Miles of Riverdale, 44-year-old Rodney Harris of Fayetteville, 28-year-old Motreaz Harris of Atlanta, and 31-year-old Brandon Wyldon of Riverdale.

The investigation into the crash is ongoing and an update may be provided in future accident reports.
In 2019, 1,505 people died on Georgia’s roads. However, there has been a reduction in traffic deaths in recent weeks.
According to the Georgia Department of Transportation, an estimated 125 people died in traffic accidents in March. This was a 12.6 % decrease on March 2019 when 143 people were killed.
There were fewer drivers on the road because more people were working from home and cities and counties imposed shelter-in-place orders in response to COVID-19.
