Nicole Amber Moss Tragically Killed in Dawson County Traffic Wreck

A woman was killed in Lumpkin County, Georgia, after her vehicle veered off the highway and crashed into a tree. According to the accident reports, the fatal incident took place at night on Monday, April 20.

A Georgia State Patrol spokesperson, Cpl. Travis Sanders confirmed the incident, saying it happened at about 10 pm on Kelly Bridge Road, and one victim was confirmed dead at the crash site.

Preliminary investigations revealed that the fatal victim was the driver and sole occupant of a 2002 Ford Explorer heading west on Kelly Bridge Road.

Police said the driver lost control of her vehicle for undetermined reasons, which caused her to swerve off the shoulder of the road. The car rolled over in the process, before coming to rest as it struck a tree.

The operator suffered fatal injuries in the crash and was pronounced deceased by responding paramedics, the reports confirmed.

Authorities identified the deceased motorist as Nicole Amber Moss, a 40-year-old woman from Dahlonega. Moss was reportedly not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash.

According to Sanders, the involvement of drugs, alcohol, or a possible distraction by a cell phone has yet to be confirmed.

The Lumpkin County authorities are still investigating to determine what caused Moss to lose control of her vehicle. Any new findings following the investigation would be included in the accident reports.

Motorists are advised to adhere to traffic regulations at all times to prevent the occurrence of traffic accidents.
